Finding new shippers has never been easier when using AscendTMS. We have integrated with one of the leaders in maintaining and updating shipper data, easily found at the tip of your fingertips. You can search for up to 10 shipper leads a week, per user. Each user gets 10 leads a week, refreshing every Monday at midnight. To get started, go to the Find New Shippers tab.
When you first click on the Find New Shippers tab, you will initially be brought to this page:
Choose your criteria based on State, City, Commodity, Equipment and Revenue. You are required to add a State but the other filters are optional. The more criteria chosen, the better your results will be. In the below, we chose only the state of California to receive our leads. If you want to be more specific to the area you are searching, be sure to add a city.
If the results only show 4 leads based on your criteria, we have a counter that will show you how many leads for the week you will have left. This will allow you to always have 10 leads per week.
In your leads, you will receive the shipper name, city and state, a phone number and also the ability to add that shipper to your Customer Profiles. We provide additional information such as commodities, equipment, revenue, search date/time as well as a place where you can add specific notes.
If the shipper has a website, their shipper name will by hyperlinked. You can click on the shipper name to be redirected to their website.
If you choose to add the shipper to your Customer profile list, just click on the link "Add to My Customers List" and they will automatically be added. You can then edit the details of the profile at your convenience. At any point, If you are not sure if you added them to your list, not to worry. If previously added, you will see "Customer Added" in the shipper details.
Lastly, your leads do not go away. We have a tab for Previous Results so you will always have access to them, and remember, each user gets 10 leads a week.
